Manoj’s real name is Manoj Shukla. He was born in a Brahmin family. He studied at a local school called HAL School Korwa. Later, he went to Allahabad University and graduated in 1999. How He Started His Career

In Mumbai, Manoj got his first job writing a bhajan (a devotional song) for the famous singer Anup Jalota. He had never written a bhajan before, but he accepted the work because he needed money. For this, he was paid Rs. 3000, which was his first salary in Mumbai.

He changed his last name to “Muntashir,” which means “a scattered soul.” He chose this name because he wanted something unique and different from other poets.

In 2005, Manoj got a big chance to write for the popular TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. This show is the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? After KBC, Manoj wrote scripts for other TV shows like India’s Got Talent, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, and Indian Idol Junior.

Success as a Lyricist

Manoj Muntashir became famous for writing beautiful Hindi songs for Bollywood films. Some of his most popular songs are:
